My Hispanicize Experience, Part I

So I’ve been nominated for this year’s “Tecla Awards” in the “Top Health & Wellness Creator” category…. Whaaaat? Can somebody pinch me?

Tecla Awards are created by Hispanicize, to celebrate Latino Digital Influencers –the movers & shakers– in several categories. So many of you have congratulated me, left me messages in the comments of my social media, emailed me, I mean… Life is being so surreal right now!

Just last year I attended Hispanicize for the first time…  it was such a mixture of excitement, thrill, and empowerment. Meeting so many awesome, like-minded people, fellow creators, and influencers. All of a sudden I realized I was not alone in this path that I’ve chosen which is so intense, so personal, so “on” that “off” is not an option. . . finding other people who get it, is hard. Like, hard HARD. But attending Hispanicize last year, made it all better.

If you are wondering ” what’s Hispanicize? “, well… I’ll let them explain it for you:

Hispanicize is the largest annual event for Latino trendsetters and newsmakers including digital content creation, journalism, marketing, entertainment and tech entrepreneurship. The Hispanicize event is a launch pad for creative endeavors, new products, technologies, marketing campaigns, films, books and more targeting Latinos in the U.S. and/or Puerto Rico.”

Needless to say, I HAD A FREAKING BALL!!! I think it was so obvious I was having a good time that before I knew it, I kind of became the “face” of several promotions for the event with the below picture, that was taken while me and my friend Miriannys Muziotti from Mujer Today –an amazing blogger for mommys– were having fun and taking selfies, because ya’ know… girls! Lol

But obviously, we couldn’t just snap one… there are more. Ha!

Why do I love this conference so much?

To be honest, I wish I knew about it sooner. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you that my game as an influencer COMPLETELY changed after attending Hispanicize. I was already doing good, but I wanted GREAT and that’s what I got there… all your questions about blogging, monetizing your platform, video creation, amazing pics, engaging with your followers, etc. will be answered here.

So this conference is a MUST is you’re starting to have a presence in the digital space –blogging, influencer, video creator, journalism, music– or even if you are already on your way, but want to take your game to the next level.

This is not one of those conferences that you go and then realize that you didn’t learn ANYTHING, wasted your money and even worst, your time… errrr…. nop! urggggg!

At Hispanicize you will get ANSWERS, you’ll get resources, meet amazing influencers and get all the details you are itching to know but perhaps feel shy to ask directly to people -How do influencers, bloggers, vloggers make money? The good, the bad & the nasty of the industry. Tips & tricks to advance your career.

It’s really magical, PLUS you’ll end up with tons of goodie bags from the sponsors that will quite honestly surpass the price you’ll pay for the tickets; attend amazing soirées and cocktails, make new friends and like a LOT of pictures ’cause they always make sure to create a venue that’s super Instagram worthy!

There’s no better investment than investing in YOURSELF. I’m so hyped to be part of Hispanicize… can’t hardly wait for April 3rd… yes, yes, yes!

Will I see you there?

She’ll share with us TONS of insights about the influencer industry, how to break into it and differentiate yourself, what to expect from the conference and how she manages to stay healthy-ish during this crazy time… Can’t wait to share that post with you guys!

Ok so, now I’m off to keep prepping for my upcoming FB Live take-over for Dime Media & Hispanicize, where I’ll teach you guys and everyone attending the conference how to get “Red Carpet Ready” to glow from the inside out for the big day. All those pics, videos and snaps require a JLo glow after all! Lol

Hope you guys have an awesome weekend!
