Staying Fresh After A Workout – 3 Things I Always Do!

What a great feeling after an amazing workout!

I always make it a point to try and workout in the morning, because you know life can get craaaaazy as the day goes by and before I know it, it’s evening time, I start feeling tired and drained and pretty much my chances of hitting the gym are null. Does this happen to you as well?

CONFESSION TIME: I don’t always have time to take a shower after I hit the gym! (wait, what??? who cares?!) My day after I exercise is a combination of calls, coaching session with my clients, meetings and running errands. So, sometimes I pretty much have to keep at it with my day.

For the sake of my meetings and clients (I don’t want to scare them, ya’ know! Lol) I do my best to freshen up.

These are the 3 things I do to stay fresh after a workout:

1. Oil Absorbing Sheets

I don't always have time to take a shower after I hit the gym! So these are the 3 things I usually do to freshen up when I have to keep going!

This is a LIFESAVER, you guys!

Right after my workout, before heading out for the day I use Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets so I don’t look all shiny and gross. I’m what you would call a hardcore fan of these sheets and I’ve been using them since I was in high school! I LOVE that I can use them for on-the-go touch-ups, and they instantly go to work soaking up excess oil and removing shine from my face. And even on the days I’m wearing makeup they work amazing too, without smudging it or leaving behind powder.

2. Baby wipe my arms, underarms, and neck & Apply moisturizing lotion

I don't always have time to take a shower after I hit the gym! So these are the 3 things I usually do to freshen up when I have to keep going!

This step is like so obvious right? I always use baby wipes to freshen my arms, underarms, and neck… then apply moisturizing cream again because my skin is SUPER dry, urrrggg. Lately, I’m loving Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion (my mom swears by it!); it leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and naturally healthy looking and is gentle enough for everyday use. It’s also fragrance-free, nongreasy and noncomedogenic.

Can I get an amen?

3. Change my panty liners, eat a banana & go!

Obviously refreshing our intimates after working out is like a no-brainer. I always, always change my panty liner after working out. then I eat a banana and pretty much I’m ready to tackle my day!

The best thing of all is that I (and you!) can find these products pretty much everywhere. I usually get mines at my closest Rite Aid… Who else feels like going to a Rite Aid is like a mental therapy! ja ja I just love roaming their perfectly organized aisles and get my favorite necessities. Employees are always super friendly help you make smart choices in every aisle and cheer you on in your wellness journey which was so cool to experience!
