WHY I’M ADDING ECHINACEA TO MY WELLNESS RITUALS

I started researching about the medicinal benefits & healing properties of "Echinacea", a plant I've seen mostly in teas, but confess I had never stopped to research more about its benefits — until now, and I'm glad I did!

If you know me a little, then you’ll know that I’m obsessed about learning and discovering new things, practices and foods that help my tribe (and myself!) to have a healthy and vibrant life. One thing that my coaching clients always ask me is to create potions/elixirs that allows them to boost their immune system. But the truth is, it can be difficult to know where to start!

I was recently reading about the medicinal and healing properties of “Echinacea” a plant I’ve seen mostly in teas, but I confess I had never stopped to research more about its benefits — until now, and I’m glad I did!

Here are some of the echinacea’s benefits:

  • Excellent to raise the immune system (decreases the chances of you getting the flu by 58% and you recover twice as fast if you contract it)
  • Fights Cancer (especially all tumors)
  • An excellent analgesic for pain (cramps, headaches, etc.)
  • Anti-inflammatory (balances the pH & alkalinize our bodies!)
  • Improve skin problems
  • Excellent against infections (blood, gums, vaginal, urinary, etc.)

There are many ways to consume Echinacea, like in tablets forms, tea, and liquid. In my experience and according to my research I noted that the liquid form is more effective and faster results (as a natural treatment please bear in mind the results are not immediate, but after several days of use).

NOTE: Everyone is different, so if you decide to use it, I suggest you start with small doses to see how it goes!

I use this type in drops called Herbal Resistance Liquid of the brand Source Naturals which I get at Amazon (as you know it’s one of my favorite places to purchase in order to NOT complicate my life and save money). It comes mixed with other ingredients, super healthy stuff and especially no alcohol, which unfortunately many of the drop-like elixirs have today, which lowers the content of the actual medicinal ingredients of some brands in the market.

I usually use it when I do my power juices in the juicer, in my afternoon detox tea or simply with a glass of water!
